Spreading Hope with 300 Eggs: Farm Alert Visits Two Schools in Gwarimpa, FCT

In a continued effort to combat malnutrition and support child nutrition, Farm Alert’s Eggs of Hope initiative reached two schools in Gwarimpa—Vimacons Nursery and Primary School and Jescare Nursery and Primary School. The outreach, which took place at Gwarimpa 3rd Avenue, opposite Hillside Estate 2nd Gate, saw the distribution of 300 eggs to young students, reinforcing the project’s commitment to improving food security and nutrition in underserved communities.

Eggs are a powerhouse of essential nutrients, providing much-needed protein and vitamins crucial for childhood development. Through Eggs of Hope, Farm Alert continues to make a tangible difference by ensuring that children have access to this vital source of nourishment.

Beyond nutrition, the initiative also fosters awareness about the importance of animal-sourced protein and healthy eating habits. The smiles and excitement from the children at VIMACONS and JESCARE schools were a testament to the impact of this outreach, highlighting the role of small, consistent efforts in building a healthier generation.

Farm Alert remains committed to expanding its reach, ensuring that more children across Nigeria benefit from initiatives like Eggs of Hope. Each egg given is a step towards a future where no child goes hungry.
