A New Chapter for Animal Health in Africa: Farm Alert’s Joint Success and Class & Claws Launch

On August 5th, our Abuja warehouse became more than a venue; it became a living symbol of partnership, innovation, and a shared vision for Africa’s animal health future. Friends, partners, veterinarians, and pet business owners gathered not just to witness an announcement but to be part of a story: the simultaneous launch of the Farm Alert Partners Loyalty Programme – “Joint Success” and Class & Claws, our flagship luxury pet brand.

Building Success Together

The “Joint Success” programme isn’t a marketing gimmick; it’s a tangible way to share value with those who have helped us grow. Exclusively for registered Farm Alert partners, the initiative rewards consistent purchasing of key product lines with monthly rebates of 1% to 5%, depending on purchase volume. Eligible products include all Class & Claws items, Boehringer Ingelheim lines like NexGard and PrimoDox, and our SIGMA range.

From small pet stores to established veterinary practices, our partners told stories at the event of how Farm Alert’s product loans, dependable delivery, and flexible credit terms had enabled them to grow from humble beginnings into thriving businesses. One partner described starting with “a single can of dog food” and now running a full clinic and pet store. Another spoke of reaching five states from a single Kaduna base, thanks to Farm Alert’s support.

The loyalty programme is designed to amplify these successes, offering rebates that can be reinvested in stock, equipment, or simply in rewarding the hard work that keeps pet care businesses alive.

Introducing Class & Claws

The second milestone unveiled was Class & Claws, a brand born in Nigeria but crafted to global luxury standards. More than a label, it represents our determination to produce premium, affordable pet care products locally, reducing dependence on imports and making high-quality grooming essentials accessible to African pet owners.

The launch line includes:

  • Conditioning Shampoo – Cleans, detangles, and protects while defending against ticks and fleas.
  • Tick & Flea Spray – Improved formula for faster, longer-lasting protection.
  • Herbal and Regular Shampoos – Tailored for different coat types and grooming needs.
  • Furry Fragrance (Regular & Elevated) – Keeping pets fresh between baths.

With prices up to 100% lower than equivalent imports and all products NAFDAC-registered, Class & Claws is set to serve both local and regional markets, a step toward our vision of West Africa as a hub for world-class veterinary solutions.

One Mission, Two Milestones

While these launches are different in nature — one a financial partnership model, the other a physical product line — they are united by a single purpose: making animal healthcare in Africa more accessible, affordable, and locally sustainable.

By sharing our success through rebates, we strengthen the businesses that bring our products to pet owners. By producing luxury-grade products locally, we reduce costs, increase availability, and keep value within our continent.

Looking Forward

From Abuja, our eyes are set on expansion — Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Liberia — building a network of over 6,000 partners across West Africa. But more importantly, we are committed to growing with our partners, not just because of them.

The event was more than a launch. It was a reaffirmation: that Farm Alert’s growth will always be tied to the prosperity of the veterinarians, pet store owners, and animal health advocates who stand with us. Together, through Joint Success and Class & Claws, we are shaping a future where Africa doesn’t just follow global standards in animal healthcare, we set them.
